- Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort - Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The resort continues incorporating services and amenities. The majority of the resort services are already available with the exception of: spa boutique (expected to open by the May 30); jewelry stores (expected to open by May 15); and the flower shop (TBA)
Facilities & Entertainment - All outdoors pools are available as well as the swim up bars, fitness center, kids club, miniature golf, and the sunbathing area. Daily activities and nightly entertainment currently offered. Meeting facilities are available.
Facilities to open on a later date:
- Kids pool (with water toys & toboggan, expected to open on June 1st.)
- Lazy river (expected to open on April 30).
- The Casino is expected to open on July 15 (current gaming options: 68 slots machines).
- Spa facilities are expected to be ready by June 1st (currently 24 multi-functional treatment rooms are available)
- Xtreme Center (expected to open on July 15)
- 2 Tennis courts - (expected to open on July 15)
- Billiards - TBA
- Nightclub - (expected to open on July 15); provisional nightclub available
- Golf course - 1st 9th holes expected to be available by the middle of the month of September and the back 9 by November.

Palace Resorts is proud to announce that Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun has received the XIX Premio Nacional de Calidad (National Quality Award) in the tourism sector. The distinction was awarded by Mexico's President, Felipe Calderon, who highlighted the efforts of his nation to become a more modern and competitive country. The Instituto para el Fomento a la Calidad Total (Institute for the Promotion of Overall Quality), the organization that evaluates the performance of public and private entities, selected Moon Palace as the resort that complies with the high standards set by the Institute.

We are pleased to announce that within the category of resort services, the beauty salon, the gift shop and the Cana boutique are now open.

- Moon Palace Casino Golf & Spa Resort
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort in Punta Cana is experiencing delays with the opening of some of its facilities. The resort is slated to be running at full service by Summer 2009 and between now and then amenities and facilities will continue to open as time progresses.
New guests wishing to visit the resort during this soft-opening stage (now through May 31, 2009) will receive a twenty percent savings while staying in one of the completed rooms featuring double Jacuzzis and balconies. Guests will also have full access to the completed amenities including six outdoor pools facing the ocean, a sunbathing area, as well as five bars and restaurants (out of the 24 total restaurants and bars that will be open when the resort is complete), as well as 24 hour room service.
Due to the inconvenience of the casino and golf facilities still being under construction, Palace Resorts will provide complimentary transportation to nearby Tower Casino and Rokoki Golf course. In addition the resort is offering complimentary manicures, as well as beachside back and leg massages until Feb 28th.
